Ma'aden Aluminum Division Q2 Revenue Up 49% to $1.01 Billion
According to reports on October 9, Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma'aden) announced its results for the second quarter of 2026, showing a 49% year-on-year increase in aluminum division revenue to $1.01 billion, driven by a 51% rise in aluminum prices to $3,915 per tonne. Production for the aluminum division stood at 242,000 tonnes for the quarter. The company stated that the revenue growth was primarily driven by pricing rather than a significant increase in production volume. The aluminum division's strong performance has increased its share of Ma'aden's earnings mix, particularly as other parts of the portfolio face more complex production outlooks. Meanwhile, the company lowered its production guidance for phosphate and ammonia, creating a mixed operational picture. Ma'aden's aluminum division performance provides the clearest signal of quantitative growth in the company's latest operational overview.
