Mingtai Aluminum: Order Backlog Exceeds Two Months; South Korea Base Operating at Full Capacity
On the evening of September 29, Mingtai Aluminum responded to investor inquiries regarding its business operations on an interactive platform.
An investor asked about changes in product inventory given the significant increase in stocking by enterprises ahead of the National Day holiday, and whether the company would continue to operate at full capacity during the break.
The company replied that its current order backlog covers more than two months, and inventory management is optimized based on market conditions. Production will continue at full capacity during the National Day holiday, with schedules coordinated according to order delivery timelines.
Another investor inquired about the capacity utilization rate of the South Korean plant this year, its main processed products, and the composition of its workforce (specifically the ratio of local employees to those dispatched from China).
The company stated that its South Korean production base is currently operating at full capacity with all output sold. Its products are primarily used in sectors such as transportation, new energy, electronics and home appliances, and intelligent equipment manufacturing. Regarding the workforce, the ratio of technical personnel from China to local employees complies with local labor regulations.
Mingtai Aluminum is China's first private aluminum processing enterprise. Its core business involves the R&D, production, and sales of a full range of aluminum plates, strips, and foils (Series 1–8) and high-end aluminum alloy deep-processing products. Simultaneously, it has established a circular industry chain encompassing aluminum scrap recycling, high-quality recycling (maintaining alloy grade) of aluminum, and the comprehensive utilization of aluminum dross solid waste, thereby creating a complete closed-loop industry chain: "aluminum resource recycling – high-quality recycled aluminum smelting – deep aluminum processing – domestic and international sales."
In the first half of 2026, the company achieved operating revenue of RMB 21.119 billion, a year-on-year increase of 24.23%. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was RMB 1.407 billion, up 49.61% year-on-year, while net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company—excluding non-recurring gains and losses—stood at RMB 1.357 billion, a year-on-year increase of 64%.
The company attributed this significant growth in operating performance to several factors: sustained high demand from downstream sectors, the steady ramp-up of high-end production capacity, continuous optimization of the product mix, growth in overseas export orders, and the realization of cost advantages associated with recycled aluminum.
