Inner Mongolia Xinlian Aluminum’s Alumina Project Expected to Commence Operations After 2027 Spring Festival
As of October 8, the Inner Mongolia Xinlian Aluminum alumina project—featuring an annual capacity of 7 million tonnes—covers a total area of 412.64 mu and involves a total investment of RMB 3.592 billion, with RMB 1.806 billion allocated for Phase I. Phase I entails the construction of a production line with an annual capacity of 3.5 million tonnes of alumina, supported by three 80,000 Nm³/h coal-to-gas systems and two 5,000 t/d aluminum hydroxide calciners; intelligent storage and logistics systems, environmental protection facilities, and various utility and auxiliary infrastructure will be built concurrently. According to the construction plan, the main construction work is scheduled for completion before the 2027 Spring Festival, with formal production and operations commencing after the holiday.
