Jasper to supply furnace to Neuman Aluminium
Neuman Aluminium has selected Jasper to supply an aluminium melting furnace to Hirschvogel’s site in San Juan del Río, Mexico.
Neuman Aluminium recently partnered with Hirschvogel to produce aluminium at the site as part of an expansion.
Construction work has begun on two production halls, which each span 7,500 m2.
The start-up of production is scheduled for the beginning of 2028.
In addition, the furnace will be a tiltable 40 tonne melting furnace equipped with Jasper’s PulsReg technology.
The pulsed regenerative burner system is suitable for gas, oil, and coal dust and is designed for dusty furnace atmospheres.
Jasper said the furnace marked the company’s first major project in North America.
It continued: “We are excited to bring our furnace technology, engineering expertise, and experience in aluminium melting to Mexico – and we are looking forward to a successful project and a strong partnership.”
Furthermore, process scrap from forming can be melted down again on site and fed into the material cycle.
